Facts can only give a partial impression of companies. We believe that the company’s ethos and our people are far more important. Nevertheless, the following key facts give a basic impression of us.
1963
This was the year that Basler & Hofmann was founded. Today, the company is still operating as an independent family firm.
The Group
A number of other companies have joined Basler & Hofmann since the 1990's. Together with Basler & Hofmann AG of Zurich and Basler & Hofmann West AG (headquartered in Zollikofen), the group includes several engineering, planning and consultancy companies based in the Zurich and Basel areas as well as Central Switzerland.

Quality management
On 13th April 1994 we became the first engineering company in Switzerland to hold the ISO 9001 quality management certification. Our environmental management system has been ISO 14001 certified since 1996.
