Travelling by public transport, car ...

... and on foot

A green transport plan

One of the main Credit Suisse offices is in Zurich-South. Several thousand people commute there every day. Basler & Hofmann has developed a travel plan with a raft of measures to ensure that people’s travel requirements are met in a way that is both sustainable and comfortable.

Travel plan for Zurich-South

Credit Suisse will take on a further 2,000 staff at its offices in Zurich-South, prompting the company to develop a green transport plan. How many parking spaces are needed? What are the best routes to take and at what time of day? What infrastructure is needed for cyclists and walkers?

An intelligent incentive system

Basler & Hofmann carried out a survey to identify the needs of the staff. It also looked at where people lived. The company then produced a travel plan to make travelling to work more appealing with environmentally friendly public transport. A key element in the plan is the car park management system which means that the limited parking space can be used in an intelligent way. Additional communication measures are essential to ensure that the travel plan is successful. Basler & Hofmann also provides the client with help in this respect.
