“I started my career at Basler & Hofmann as a draughtswoman. I then did a degree in civil engineering and worked at the same time. After completing my studies I decided that I wanted to go into construction management.
I am really enjoying the practical work on a construction site. You don’t get that on a course. I would like to be an experienced construction manager and be able to handle a whole range of projects. I am now taking on my second contract which is a ramp structure – and I’m really looking forward to it. It’s fantastic being involved in the new Zurich Cross-City Rail Link. It’s a fascinating project. I hope that I will be there when the line is opened – that’s a great goal to be working towards.”
