Merger to take place within the Basler & Hofmann Group
Two Bern-based engineering and planning companies are to merge with Basler & Hofmann West AG in the spring of 2010. They are Iten, Kaltenrieder + Partner IKP AG and Steiner & Buschor Ingenieure und Planer AG.
Wider range of engineering services
From March 1, 2010, the company’s new headquarters will be in Zollikofen near Bern. The organisation will employ about 90 staff. The two companies have already been part of the Basler & Hofmann Group for a number of years. The merger enables us to offer a wider range of engineering, planning and consultancy services: building services, energy, structural and foundation engineering, hydraulic engineering, environment and transportation. The company will be led by a four-strong management team comprising Beat Koller (chairman), Roland Steiner (vice-chairman), Hanspeter Koller and Michael Enzmann.
The Basler & Hofmann Group is an amalgamation of engineering, planning and consultancy companies. The Group employs about 500 staff most of whom are based in Switzerland. The Group also has branches in Germany, Slovakia, India and Singapore.
