Zurich Airport: new Delta Süd aircraft stands
Project overview
With the year-on-year increases in passenger numbers at Zurich Airport, demand is growing for aircraft stands, particularly for flights to European destinations. In order to optimise operations, ten new code C aircraft stands were built to the west of the hangars and taken into operation at the end of 2018. New parking/servicing areas for hangar operations and general parking areas were built at the same time. Before this could be done, it was necessary to relocate the existing aircraft stands, parking/servicing areas and general parking areas for the hangar as well as the snow handling areas.
