Basler & Hofmann AG opens office in Lausanne


Over the past few years, Basler & Hofmann has become increasingly active in major motorway and railway station projects in western Switzerland. In order to serve its two most important national clients, the Federal Roads Office (FEDRO) and SBB, also in the french speaking part of switzerland, the engineering, planning and consulting company is opening a new office in Lausanne in the first half of 2014.

By mid-May, a core team of five employees will have moved into the new premises near Lausanne railway station – space for more employees is available. “The decision to open a new location in Lausanne shows the great importance of our projects in western Switzerland. We want to build a solid team to work with our clients in the long term, and cooperation with our French-speaking partner companies will also be strengthened by this step,” says Dominik Courtin, Chief Executive Officer. The Lausanne office will provide clients in western Switzerland with direct access to Basler & Hofmann’s broad expertise and its 350 employees from more than 30 disciplines.
