As a graduate in Construction Management, Raffaela Cannizzo is a renowned expert in the overall project management of complex railway construction projects. Whether contract management, scheduling or quality management, Raffaela is a safe pair of hands who reliably steers major projects through all phases of construction. Before moving to Switzerland in 2019 to take up a post as an engineer, she had already worked in Germany for an international consultancy firm as well as for an industrial enterprise and for Germany’s national railway company, Deutsche Bahn. At Deutsche Bahn she was employed as Senior Project Manager and Team Leader for civil engineering, as part of which she was also involved in Risk Management and the introduction of Building Information Modelling (BIM) across Germany. Since 2020 Raffaela Cannizzo has brought her expertise in project management in the field of Railway Construction to Basler & Hofmann. Here, she looks after major projects as overall coordinator and project manager, including the Basel-Muttenz bypass and the new underground station under Bern station for the regional train service between Bern and Solothurn (RBS).
