Regina Iten

Regina Iten has been interested in the planning and construction business for quite some time. Before she joined Basler & Hofmann’s HR team in 2021, she spent 10 years working as an HR Business Partner and a freelance HR consultant for various companies in the property and construction sector. Regina originally trained as a baker and pastry chef, but not long after starting her first job she discovered her passion for human resources. She started her HR career as a personnel officer at a Swiss retailer. Her fascination with all things HR kept on growing and she obtained one professional qualification after another, rising from HR assistant to vocational training instructor and qualified HR specialist on to Head of HR. Regina is Head of HR at Basler & Hofmann’s Essligen office.

What fascinates you about your work?

I’m fascinated by people and organisations. In my role as an HR consultant, I like the fact that I face new challenges every day. No two days are ever exactly the same. I really appreciate the variety.

What do you find makes a project particularly enjoyable?

When different kinds of people, all with different skills, work together as a team to deliver a successful project.
