Regula Vedruccio-Stopper
Diploma in Geomatic Engineering ETH
Director Geoinformatics

Regula Vedruccio was already fascinated by the reproduction and processing of the real world in geographic information systems (GIS) and digital maps during her studies. Following her graduation as a geomatics engineer, she worked at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) Zurich’s Institute of Cartography and Geoinformation, and gained a further qualification in spatial information systems. In addition to the development of interactive maps, she specialised increasingly in system configuration and database administration of pipe information systems, especially regarding the complex medium of electricity. Regula Vedruccio began working for Basler & Hofmann as a project manager in 2008, and she became the head of Geoinformatics in 2017. As a committee member of the GEONIS UserClub, she is active in the GIS community and is always up to date on the latest software developments.
