Arnold Stauber

Arnold Stauber has extensive experience in the planning and site management of road and rail tunnels. He joined the Tunnels department at Basler & Hofmann in 1987, and, as a tunnel, gallery and cavern specialist, works as overall project manager or project manager in a wide range of large interdisciplinary infrastructure projects, such as the expansion of the RBS underground railway station in Bern below the existing SBB railway station, the Schlossberg car park in Thun, the SBB Zurich cross-city link with the Weinberg tunnel and the Lucerne underground railway station with the Dreilinden tunnel. Alongside additional specialist and client support mandates, as a member of the division’s management, Arnold Stauber is also involved in talent development, helping to ensure the transfer of knowledge within the company.

When collaboration within the project team, with the client and with other parties involved works well, and a large-scale project can evolve in an effective manner.
