Christoph Rüedlinger

Christoph Rüedlinger has been working on the dynamics of mountain torrents and rivers ever since his studies at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) Zurich: He completed a master’s degree in Atmospheric and Climate Science, majoring in Hydraulic Engineering and Hydrology. He then went on to gain a wealth of professional experience as a project manager in Hydraulic Engineering and deputy head of the Natural Hazards department of the canton of Obwalden. The environmental systems engineer moved to Basler & Hofmann Hofmann in Central Switzerland in 2014, where he became head of Hydraulic Engineering. Since 2016, he has been a leading expert in Hydraulic Engineering at the affiliated company in Zurich. Christoph Rüedlinger manages projects in the areas of hydraulic engineering, flood protection, revitalisation and public-health engineering, and advises cantons and municipalities as a client representative.
