Lukas Amrein works hard every day to ensure that our road network is well-maintained and is able to cope with increasing traffic volumes. After completing his vocational education and training as a draughtsman in civil engineering, he completed a civil engineering degree at the HSR Hochschule für Technik Rapperswil. Since 2008 he has managed road construction and service pipe projects at Basler & Hofmann at the national, municipal and cantonal level. Furthermore, while working at Basler & Hoffman, Lukas Amrein developed his leadership skills by earning a Certificate of Advanced Study (CAS) in Leadership at the Institute of Applied Psychology (IAP) and expanded his knowledge of road infrastructure safety by completing training to become a road safety auditor.
What fascinates you about your work?
Balancing projects so that all stakeholders benefit from the project while at the same time finding the most environmentally sound solution.
What is different about working at Basler & Hofmann?
As an employee with children, I appreciate the flexibility they offer me in terms of scheduling. This allows me to spend time with my family while also having a successful career.
