The Belgian-born civil engineer is an expert in urban utility line construction. As a project manager, he is responsible for ensuring that the infrastructure in residential areas remains in service during construction work and mediates between municipalities, utilities and residents. His speciality covers trenchless tunnelling methods such as microtunnelling. Hendrik-Jan De Bock studied geology and civil engineering in Belgium. After graduating, he worked for four years as a site manager on large pipeline construction projects throughout Europe and gained experience in flush drilling and pipe driving. He joined Basler & Hofmann in 2018, first working as a project engineer and later as project manager in urban civil engineering.
