Reto Vincenz

After studying Architecture at ETH Zurich, Reto Vincenz gained practical experience in the delivery of construction projects while working as a project manager and construction manager for a prestigious architecture firm and a planning firm in Zurich. In 2010, he changed roles within the field of classic project organisation and became a client representative in the infrastructure division at SBB. Since 2016, Reto Vincenz has been working at Basler & Hofmann as a development consultant for public and private clients. His work centres around school development, collaborating with relevant stakeholders to analyse municipalities’ existing school capacity and creating needs-appropriate development concepts.

What do you find makes a project particularly enjoyable?

I enjoy it when, at the end of an intensive collaborative phase with all project stakeholders, a coherent whole emerges.

What other profession could you imagine yourself in – and why?

I am fascinated by geomatics. I find it exciting to use cutting-edge technology to work at the point where nature and the built environment intersect.
