Basel refuse incineration plant: special shoring struts for the installation of a heat pump

In future, waste heat from the Basel refuse incineration plant (KVA) is to be exploited by means of a heat pump. Special shoring struts were required for installation of the four pump modules, each of which weighs up to 40 tonnes. An exciting challenge for the planning engineers at Basler & Hofmann.
