Basler & Hofmann AG: Changes to Executive Board

Basler & Hofmann AG is expanding its Executive Board and strengthening its market presence in French-speaking Switzerland: Hans Tschamper is taking over as Lake Geneva Market Segment Director, which is a new position on the Executive Board. He is handing over his previous business division Building Structures and Infrastructure to Daniel Krähenbühl and Armin Gschnitzer. They will head up the newly-formed business divisions of Buildings and Façade Structures, as well as Bridges and Roads. A generational change is taking place in the Environment and Transport Planning division: Jean-Claude Griesser is handing this business division over to Ralf Sigrist and is leaving the Executive Board. He will now use his many years of experience to promote company-wide projects.
Focus on French-speaking Switzerland
Basler & Hofmann has had an office in Lausanne since 2014. Since then, the company has developed a good reputation in the Lake Geneva region, primarily as a planner of railway stations, transport systems and national roads. "The positive response in previous years has encouraged us to expand our range of services in the region and extend our Lausanne office," explains Dominik Courtin, CEO. Hans Tschamper, Lake Geneva Market Segment Director is taking over this task. Together with Eric Jaquier, Murten Branch Manager and Ralph Bächli, who is in charge of railway station building, he is the contact for projects in this region. On the Executive Board, Hans Tschamper as Lake Geneva Market Segment Director, holds responsibility for the company's commitment to the region. Hans Tschamper grew up bilingual and in recent years put down roots in French-speaking Switzerland, both professionally and personally. With immediate effect, his work and activities will be concentrated on Lausanne. With Daniel Krähenbühl and Armin Gschnitzer, two experienced management personalities who are also well known in our sector of industry are taking over the leadership of the two newly created business divisions.
Generational change in the Environment and Transport Planning division
Ralf Sigrist is now responsible on the Executive Board for the Environment and Transport Planning division. A graduate in Environmental Engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, he has been part of the Basler & Hofmann management team since 2014. In future, he will continue to further develop our services in the environmental sector in his considered and integrative manner and using a holistic approach.
The Board of Directors and Executive Board would like to sincerely thank the former Managing Director Jean-Claude Griesser for his many years of committed work on the Executive Board. He remains available to the organisation as Corporate Mentor for company-wide assignments.
