Keya Braun is an environmental engineer and has been working in the noise protection division at Basler & Hofmann since 2019. As a project manager, she specialises in environmental acoustics, noise calculations and noise measurements, as well as the planning and assessment of noise abatement measures. Her projects include acoustic consultancy work for the Glattal motorway, updating the noise pollution register for the Canton of Zurich, and noise assessments for infrastructure and building construction projects. She carries out noise measurements, evaluates traffic surveys and oversees road noise remediation projects. Her aim is to continually develop her skills by tackling diverse and challenging issues and to utilise interdisciplinary collaboration to create holistic solutions in noise protection.

What fascinates you about your work?

I’m fascinated by the varied projects and the exciting questions they raise. Every task brings new challenges and the opportunity to develop suitable solutions.

What makes working at Basler & Hofmann special?

I like projects that present new challenges and offer the chance to learn. I also value working with other environmental departments. I particularly enjoy creating large-scale noise calculation models.
