Manuel Oertle
Specialist for traffic, mobility and spaces

After completing his vocational education and training in cartography followed by a technical vocational baccalaureate, Manuel Oertle pursued a degree in Spatial Planning at the HSR Hochschule für Technik Rapperswil. In 2010, he joined Basler & Hofmann as a project engineer in the Transport and Spatial Planning department. Alongside his work, he further developed his professional knowledge with a Certificate of Advanced Study (CAS) in Public Transport Planning at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSLU). Today, as a specialist responsible for traffic, mobility and spaces, he develops transport concepts of all kinds - from traffic calming to bike and pedestrian routing through to redesigning bus stations. In his free time, he enjoys riding his bike on some of the bike paths he has helped plan.

When experts from different disciplines, such as, for example, city planners and landscape architects, work together on a project.
