Arc-Award in BIM innovation: nomination for Basler & Hofmann’s office building in Esslingen

Basler & Hofmann’s Office Building Extension eGHA in Esslingen has been nominated for the 2018 Arc-Award in the BIM innovation category – honouring the project as one of the top three submitted applications.
In the project for the extension of their own office building in Esslingen, Basler & Hofmann aimed for a consistently digitalised construction process – from the planning to the construction site. The entire project was planned in one sole BIM model, which forms the unique basis for the invitations to tender, the construction and the future management of the building. The Arc-Award in BIM innovation is now the second award the project has received: the Basler & Hofmann team previously received the AEC Excellence Award in Las Vegas on 13 November 2018.
