Basler & Hofmann strengthens its commitment to research and teaching at ETH Zurich

Basler & Hofmann has once again strengthened its partnership with the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) Zurich and its commitment to research and teaching at the renowned institution with a substantial donation to ETH Zurich Foundation. With the Excellence Scholarship & Opportunity Programme (ESOP), ETH Zurich Foundation offers exceptional students the opportunity to truly fulfil their potential. The donation from Basler & Hofmann is intended to benefit students of civil engineering and those on the new interdisciplinary master’s degree course Integrated Building Systems in particular. “We are delighted that ETH is focusing on the integrated planning of building projects in its new course. This expertise is essential for the future of the construction industry,” commented Dominik Courtin, Chairman of the Executive Board of Basler & Hofmann.

The company has a number of links to ETH: each year, scores of students from the university gain their first work experience as interns at Basler & Hofmann or begin their career with the company following their graduation. Many employees are alumni of ETH Zurich, while some of them still teach there today
