Gianluca De Sanctis

Gianluca De Sanctis joined the security consulting team at Basler & Hofmann in 2020. After completing his master's degree in civil engineering, he wrote his dissertation at ETH Zurich on risk assessment in fire protection, reliability analyses, modelling of fire events and risk-based fire protection. He has been working in security consulting since 2015, mainly in the areas of fire protection, accident prevention and integral safety for infrastructures. In addition to his practical work, he is involved in various research projects. He lectures at ETH Zurich as part of the MAS Fire Safety Engineering programme on the subject of verification procedures. He is also Chairman of the Board of the Society of Fire Protection Engineers (SFPE) Switzerland and a member of the steering committee for the revision of Swiss fire protection regulations.

I can apply my broad specialist knowledge in various areas and thus generate added value for our customers. I also gain exciting insights into various topics and organisations.
