Philipp Stadelmann
Project Manager
PPhilipp Stadelmann is a civil engineer ETH and project manager at Basler & Hofmann. His areas of expertise lie in structural design using concrete, steel, timber and masonry – particularly for school, residential and industrial buildings, as well as for conversions and reuse of load-bearing components. He also has experience in digital planning with BIM2Field. His projects include the new construction of the Reishauer industrial site in Wallisellen, the schools in Dierikon and Emmen – challenging hybrid structures in solid and timber construction – and the new construction of an underground gymnasium. As a young engineer, he was part of the multidisciplinary project team for the major Bern RBS railway station project. With his in-depth technical knowledge and practical planning skills, he oversees structural projects from concept to execution.
I find it fascinating to plan a project in an interdisciplinary team and then, once it has been completed, to be able to look at it as the result of the work we have done.
In addition to constructive thinking and performing calculations, I enjoy interacting with other people. That's why I could also imagine a profession such as teacher or social education worker.
