Sebastian Wolf

Analysing, modelling, digital optimisation – these are the tasks that drive Sebastian Wolf. As head of the ‘Digitalization consulting’ team at Basler & Hofmann, he supports public authorities and infrastructure companies in making processes relating to planning, construction and operation more efficient and future-proof. His areas of expertise include digital transformation, the development of GIS solutions, the implementation of BIM, and the analysis and optimisation of processes and data flows. Sebastian originally trained as a geographer, specialising in geoinformation sciences and spatial planning. Before joining Basler & Hofmann, he worked as a GIS project manager at the City of Zurich’s Office for Urban Development. There, he developed strategies for digital transformation, implemented innovative applications using 3D geodata, web tools, and virtual and augmented reality, and laid the groundwork for the introduction of BIM.
