Ambassador House in Zurich

Project overview

The eye-catching 1980s Ambassador House on the suburban railway line between Oerlikon and Opfikon was stripped down to the shell construction, converted, extended and extensively renovated. The highly segmented, postmodern building was harmonised and restructured.

Our services

Structural engineering for all conversion measures on the building, together with stripping down the load-bearing components and the addition of a new part of the building which extends significantly. Seismic calculations and definition of reinforcement measures. Clean-up of chloride contamination on parking levels.
