BIM-to-Field courses for the Burkhalter Group
Project overview
The Burkhalter Group is a single-source provider of building services across all trades. The holding consists of 80 group companies and operates at around 150 sites. As part of internal training within the company, the group offers its employees its own training programme in Building Information Modelling (BIM). In various training units, electricians working in construction management roles are taught BIM knowledge for their day-to-day work. Basler & Hofmann has been appointed by the Burkhalter Group to develop the course modules for the BuildingSmart International Individual Qualification, with a special focus on BIM-to-Field. The courses are designed to allow the Burkhalter Group to also offer courses at practitioner level for the BuildingSmart Certification in the future.
