CFD simulation for the new data centre “Lupin3”
Project overview
The company Green Datacenter AG is constructing a 6-storey new build in the industrial quarter of Lupfig (canton of Aargau), which – in addition to offices – will be used specifically for a data centre and associated utility rooms. With the aid of various construction scenarios, a CFD simulation (Computational Fluid Dynamics) was used to show that the challenging temperature requirements in the data centre can be met by means of the selected mechanical ventilation system.
