Construction of the new “Ozeanium” aquarium complex in Basel: Advice on building physics and acoustics
Project overview
Together with Boltshauser Architekten, Basel Zoo was planning to construct a new, large-scale aquarium complex at the Heuwaage site in Basel. The challenge here was that very accurate information about thermal insulation and room acoustics was required already at completion of the pre-project. With our expertise, we advised the planning team in the areas of building physics, acoustics and sustainable building.
