Ettisbühl power plant, Malters
Project overview
The Ettisbühl power plant was constructed together with a driftwood retention as part of flood protection measures on the river Kleine Emme. The plant consists of a weir system and a power station (vertically installed Kaplan turbine). A fish ladder positioned laterally to the underwater channel facilitates fish migration.
