Expert reflection assessments for international airports in Asia

Project overview

Photovoltaic systems reflect a small proportion of the incident sunlight. These reflections can cause a problem in certain situations – for example at airports. At five international airports in Asia, photovoltaic systems the size of several football pitches were to be constructed. Before this was possible, it was necessary to clarify whether the systems would interfere with visibility for the pilots or air traffic control.
