Glass roofs of new Vulcano building in Zurich Altstetten

Project overview

Dominique Perrault’s first building in Zurich comprises impressive, strongly overhanging glass roofs, which, together with the office podium, provide effective noise protection for the 80-metre-high residential towers. The glass roofing with a modular dimension of 1.35 metres is supported by a primary structure of branches and pillars.
