The new 32-metrelong hanging bridge, which connects Kehrsiten and the Bürgenstock, creates a very special entrance to the resort. The bridge, which is really a stairway due to its 100 steps, forms part of a new hiking track that covers the spectacular countryside around the Bürgenstock. That is why it received a national promotional award. The ropes of the bridge used to be the carrier cables of the Stanserhorn cable car.
