High-pressure pumping station Riet in Goldach

Project overview

The high-pressure pumping station Riet II ensures a consistent potable water supply in the St. Gallen region. The pumps transport up to 32,000 cubic metres of potable water per day to the St. Gallen reservoirs located around 330 metres higher. The pumping station is supplied from Arbon via an almost six-kilometre-long DN 400 water pipeline in Lake Constance. The two buffer storage tanks have a capacity of 1,700 cubic metres.
