Izar hot smoke tests in Hagerbach testing tunnel

Project overview

In the event of fires in underground structures, any hot, poisonous gases must be conducted away for reasons of personal safety. It must be possible to test the smoke extraction system for correct dimensioning using the Izar hot smoke test system in the structure. In the Hagerbach testing tunnel, Izar has been calibrated using pool fires.

Our services

The Izar hot smoke test system has been tested and calibrated in the tunnel system at a high level of performance. The work was scientifically monitored by the University of Edinburgh (GB).
