Licence renewal process for the Thorenberg power station

Project overview

A licence renewal is required so that the electric utility company Energie Wasser Luzern (ewl) can continue to use the Thorenberg power station in future for electricity production. The licence renewal project includes repairs to the headrace channel and tailrace channel, replacement of the power plant installations in the area of the groundwater well and the operations building, as well as supplementary ecological measures.
