New construction of Giessen measurement station
Project overview
The cantonal discharge measurement station on the river Giessen in the canton of Thurgau required replacing. A measurement station was constructed at a new location to provide representative data from the entire drainage area with improved accuracy of measurement. As the river Giessen is a lateral tributary of the river Thur, a fish ladder also had to be provided.
