Noise protection on state roads in the Zurich Oberland
Project overview
The Building Department of the Canton of Zurich has divided the cantonal territory into four lots (W, X, Y and Z) and defined locations where noise protection measures must be realised. In lot W, noise barriers have been erected in four municipalities in the Zurich Oberland. The noise barriers in the municipalities of Dürnten and Fehraltorf are made of stone baskets. The noise barriers in the municipalities of Bauma and Wald are composed of wood and glass elements.
