Northern access road to Gotthard Base Tunnel: Stägwald retaining wall
Project overview
The Stägwald retaining wall forms part of the AlpTransit Gotthard project, and is required to secure the section of slope in front of the northern portal area and as rockfall protection for the new flying track of the Gotthard line. The retaining wall is 335 metres long, with a maximum height of 13 metres.
