Renergia refuse incineration plant in Perlen, canton of Lucerne

Project overview

The striking new building was the result of the winning project by Deon AG in the architecture competition. A large proportion of the energy generated during the incineration of refuse is used in the form of steam by the neighbouring paper mill. This enables the new refuse incineration plant to achieve an energy efficiency level of 70 per cent.
