Renovation and extension of the Institute of Virology and Immunology in Mittelhäusern
Project overview
The Institute of Virology and Immunology (IVI) in Mittelhäusern near Berne is the national reference laboratory for animal diseases and epidemics. Following decades of service, the IVI will undergo maintenance until the end of 2023.
The structural measures to maintain the facility and its technical infrastructure are extremely demanding. The IVI will continue to operate throughout the alterations. Close collaboration and coordination between user, company personnel and building owner will be critical to success.
