Schlossberg car park
In the Schlossberg of the city of Thun, directly underneath the historic castle, a new parking facility with around 300 spaces is being created – the most central place to park.

The caverns for the four-level multi-storey car park are excavated in an urban environment that is susceptible to settlement and sensitive to vibrations. In its capacity as specialist planner for excavations and underground engineering, Basler & Hofmann was also responsible for risk analyses and three-dimensional settlement calculation. The company also has the mandate for building services. The Schlossberg car park will open in autumn 2018.
