Solar power for Zurich Airport

Project overview

Flughafen Zürich AG, the operator of Zurich Airport, has set itself the target of establishing an eco-friendly and cost-efficient energy supply by the year 2030. In this context, we carried out the planning for a further photovoltaic system on the multi-storey car park P6 in addition to the ones on the car parks P1 and PA, which will help to cover peak electricity demand at the airport. The planning was a challenge, because it had to be coordinated with the general renovation of the object.
