Zurich Airport: renovation of runway 14/32

Project overview

Runway 14/32, built in 1976, was renovated in stages in 2014 due to a significant increase in maintenance costs, with no runway closures. The project encompassed reinforcement of the surfacing along the middle strip, the new construction of all runway lighting system and electrical lines, as well as maintenance of the edges of the runway.
