Zurich West development complex and demolition of Coop distribution centre

Project overview

The approximately 40,000-square-metre Coop distribution centre had to be demolished for the Zurich West development complex, with the building components containing asbestos and contaminants being removed beforehand. In parallel to the excavation work, the oil contamination in the ground was cleaned up by means of a drained excavation as well as using overlapping large scale boring.
