Surveillance measurement and preservation of evidence Schwamendingen enclosure

In Schwamendingen, we were monitoring the construction work for the enclosure of the busy motorway section and the redevelopment of the Schöneich Tunnel as part of an engineering consortium with Amberg Technologies.

The Schwamendingen enclosure is a road traffic project in Zurich that was realised over several years until 2024. The enclosure included the encasement of the A1 motorway in Zurich over a length of 940 metres with a directionally separated tunnel between the Aubrugg motorway junction and the existing Schöneich tunnel. The enclosure extended the Schöneich Tunnel to a total of 1.7 kilometres.

In the engineering consortium with Amberg Technologies, we were responsible for the preservation of evidence and building monitoring across the entire construction site of the new Schwamendingen enclosure. Our task was to ensure the Safety and Security of the adjacent buildings and structures through precise measurements and monitoring and to minimize the impact of the construction work.
