Vibration monitoring Kerenzerberg tunnel

The complete renovation of the road tunnel is planned between 2020 and 2028. The first major measure involves the construction of a safety tunnel to supplement the existing tunnel. This will be followed by extensive repair work on the highway tunnel. In the years 2020 to 2023, during the excavation of the safety tunnel, we monitored the construction and blasting vibrations with sensors and operated a web platform for data processing. We assessed the data in accordance with Swiss standard VSS 40312 and offered special measurement and assessment services for the monitoring and assessment of sensitive installations such as transformers and control centers. Thanks to our expertise in blasting technology, we were able to support the client in carrying out the blasting and tunnelling work with as little vibration as possible.
