Christoph Fischer
Photovoltaics Project Group Manager

Christoph Fischer has been working as a project manager in the photovoltaics division at Basler & Hofmann since the beginning of 2023. From solar systems for municipal buildings to large-scale alpine installations, Christoph is committed to the energy transition with his expertise and experience. He prepares preliminary and feasibility studies for a wide variety of projects, carries out yield simulations for large-scale PV systems and is responsible for sub-project management for complex solar projects such as ‘Ovra Solara Magriel’. Before joining Basler & Hofmann, the certified energy and environmental engineer (BSc ZHAW) headed the energy and technology department at a Swiss company specialising in photovoltaics, roof and façade construction. There, Christoph oversaw the implementation of over 70 photovoltaic projects, ensured the integration of battery storage and e-mobility, and was responsible for setting up and managing a team of six.
I am fascinated by the mixture of technical, economic and social challenges surrounding photovoltaics. If I was only interested in the technology, I would probably have become a physicist.
People who take initiative really enjoy working here. As a specialist, I am part of a team, but I also work independently and have a lot of creative freedom. Since Basler & Hofmann has a specialist for almost every topic, we can work together to turn new ideas into reality.
