Tobias Schär new to the Executive Board
Basler & Hofmann has started the new year with a new member of the Management Board: The Board of Directors has appointed Tobias Schär to the Executive Board as of January 1, 2026. Tobias Schär will take over the management of the "Construction and Real Estate Consulting" division from David Grossmann over the course of the year.
Tobias Schär, a qualified ETH architect and construction project manager, worked as an architect and construction project manager for several years. He has been with Basler & Hofmann since 2012, most recently as Head of Construction Development. With "Construction and Real Estate Consulting", Tobias Schär will head a business unit that offers real estate managers a comprehensive range of services: from portfolio management with our Stratus software to the development of real estate strategies and project management services. The Geoinformatics department, with its expert witness in the digitalization of construction-related processes, completes the offering.
David Grossmann will step down from the Executive Board at the end of 2026 after 20 years. We are delighted that the proven expert in construction and real estate issues will remain with Basler & Hofmann as a corporate mentor.
